"Designed as a teaching tool, this package offers a realistic and practical approach to sexuality by providing straightforward information that answers teen's questions and concerns, debunks sexual myths, and corrects concepts without being preachy or judgemental. Addressing sexual development, reproduction, abstinence, contraception, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), it also interweaves real-life scenarios that help teens-- who may or may not be sexually active -- understand the importance of making healthy decisions, being responsible about their sexual health and taking charge of their lives..... To further enrich the impact of the program, the 'Teacher's Guide' consists of thought-provoking discussion questions, suggested activities, a "Sex IQ Test" to assess students' knowledge of factual information about sex, a fact sheet with the answers, glossary, and an extensive list of resources. Both the program and Teacher's Guide are intended to be used as a comprehensive sex education program that spans an entire year.
